Yusuf Estes : Man Who Have Embraced Islam

The Conversion Story of Yusuf Estes, US Federal Prison Chaplain..

The amazing tale of how an American former “born again” Christian and his father, both ordained ministers, plus their friend, a Catholic priest, all became convinced of the truth of Islam.

Many people ask me how a preacher or priest in Christianity can ever go to Islam, especially considering all the negative things that we hear about Islam and Muslims everyday. I would like to thank everyone for their interest and offer my humble story, God Willing.

Yusuf Estes (born 1944), reknowned modern-day Islamic scholar and leader who has become one of the soundest voices of Islam in the English-speaking world today. Born to a Catholic family in Ohio, Estes was raised in Texas, where he became an ardent Christian minister. Upon learning about Islam and the Quran, Estes converted, along with his father, wife, and children, to the Islamic faith in 1991.

Estes has become a tireless activist and scholar of Islam, influencing and inspiring the paths of many future converts to Islam. His lectures and sermons have been notably published all over the world in many Muslim countries, alongside his birthplace the United States and many other places within Europe. Considered one of the most influential leaders of modern-day Western Muslims.
